Business setup

A clear checklist for bringing your business onto Paperstic.

Set up the vendor that owns your business, add each location, submit its documents, then configure the menu, service team, and payment methods. Paperstic runs in the browser, so there is no server or on-site software installation.

From vendor profile to launch

Follow these six steps

01

Create the vendor profile

A vendor is the registered entity that owns one or more hospitality businesses. This information is entered once for that vendor.

  • Vendor or company name and country
  • Vendor TIN, business email, phone number, and physical address
  • Business registration certificate and TIN certificate
  • Invite the owner to accept their account invitation
02

Add each business

Create a separate profile for every restaurant, hotel, café, or other business managed by the vendor.

  • Business name, type, country, region or city, and district
  • Business TIN, physical address, and at least one contact phone
  • Map coordinates can be added to help customers find the business
03

Upload documents for each business

Business-level documents belong to the individual location. A multi-business vendor should provide the relevant documents for each business.

Vendor documents · once per vendor

  • Business registration certificate

    Required

Evidence that the company or business name is registered.

  • TIN certificate

    Required

Taxpayer identification evidence for the vendor.

Business documents · for each business

  • Business licence

    Required

A current operating licence for this business location.

  • Proof of premises

    Required

For example, a lease, title, landlord letter, or other proof of the operating location.

Additional documents when applicable

  • VAT registration certificate
Provide it if the business is registered for VAT. The portal requires an approved, current certificate before its tax status can be set to VAT registered.
  • Sector permit
Examples include tourism, food, or liquor permits when they apply to the business and local rules.
04

Prepare the customer and service setup

Complete the information customers see and configure Paperstic around the way the team serves guests.

  • Add a logo, discovery image, description, location, and opening hours
  • Build the menu with sections, subsections, items, and prices
  • Set up service points such as tables, counters, or rooms and choose ordering channels
  • Add staff and assign roles and permissions
05

Configure how customers pay the business

Choose the direct payment methods the business accepts and provide any receiving-account details requested for those methods.

  • Enable the payment methods the business actually uses
  • Submit account or payment details for review where required
  • Waiter or counter staff record and confirm customer payments in the Business Portal
06

Complete review and activation

Paperstic Operations reviews submitted documents and payment setup. The business becomes eligible for activation when its current required business documents are approved and at least one enabled payment method is complete and approved. Operations then activates it.

  • Track each document’s status in the Business Portal
  • Respond to requests for corrections or replacement documents
  • Add expiry dates when available so the portal can show reminders

Documents and local rules

Prepare clear, current copies.

Upload PDF, JPG, JPEG, or PNG files up to 10 MB each. Document number, issue date, and expiry date can be left blank when they are unavailable. Add an expiry date when you have one so the portal can remind you before a licence or permit expires.

This page summarizes Paperstic’s current onboarding checklist. It is not legal advice or a complete statement of every country’s laws. Licences and permits depend on your location and business activity. Confirm any additional requirements with the relevant local authority; your portal checklist may include country- or business-specific documents.
